Ex-fin min Kudrin gets offer to chair Audit Chamber

MOSCOW, May 11 (PRIME) -- Alexei Kudrin, chairman of the board of the Center for Strategic Research and finance minister in 2000–2011, has received an offer to chair the Audit Chamber, his representative told PRIME late on Thursday.

“I can confirm the offer. It is quite unexpected. Alexei Leonidovich is currently considering it,” he said.

Andrei Isayev, deputy head of the United Russia party in the State Duma, the parliament’s lower house, said the fraction’s presidium plans to meet with Kudrin on May 14.
